March 2025
- Saving and comparing energy per unit: You can now save energy per unit configurations (calculations) for easier tracking and consistent calculations over time. This allows you to quickly apply previous set configurations without re-entering data. Via the ‘Compare energy per unit’ tab you can visualize the configurations on a graph. This enables you to easily compare energy consumption across multiple production unit, or monitor the energy consumption of a specific production unit over time!

- Tracking reports: We’ve enhanced our reports with new insights and improvements.
- New: Electricity Consumption per Production Hour
Monitor machine energy efficiency over time by tracking average energy use per production hour. This includes total and standby consumption, divided by production hours.
- New: Water Consumption Tracking
For customers managing water usage, you can now track water consumption (m³) and costs in your preferred currency in our reports.
- New: Gas Tracking in Volume (m3)
For customers managing gas consumption, you can now track gas consumption also in volume (m3) in our reports.
- Improved: Electricity Consumption per Status
We’ve merged "Time Spent per State" and "Time Spent On" into new and existing modules. It now shows electricity consumption when machines are On, specifically in Production or Standby mode, helping you reduce standby waste. "Time spent On" is integrated in the Electricity Consumption module.
- Improved: Energy Waste Due to Protocol Deviation
This module highlights energy wasted due to protocol violations. Protocols are set during the energy scan and are now displayed under the chart or table. To adjust protocols, contact: reports@mail.sensorfact.nl.
- Streamlined Reports: Insight Reports are now part of Tracking Reports
We’ve phased out Insight Reports — relevant insights are now included in Tracking Reports. Customize your reports by selecting the modules that matter most to you.
- CO2e insights from natural gas: Convert your gas energy consumption into carbon emissions to get more granular insights into your CO2e! Carbon emissions from natural gas are calculated by using the emission factor of 0,202 kg CO₂e/kWh (see the Carbon Emission tab within Settings).
- The CO2e unit is now available across the ‘Energy’ and ‘Energy Balance’ tabs within Gas;
- Additionally, Carbon Emissions has been added as a unit type in Tracking Reports for Gas.

- Configurable minimum time interval between alerts: You can now set the minimum time interval between repeated alerts for the same alert rule. Applicable for Electricity, Gas and Water alerts.

- Measure Quality with OEE Sensors: You can now track Quality alongside Availability and Performance with our OEE sensors! This means you can monitor how many good parts your machine produces compared to the total. To enable this, we install two sensors on an asset, measuring any two of the following: Total product flow, Accepted product flow, and Rejected product flow. Any combination works—giving you full flexibility to track production quality with real-time data!
- Easily Manage Your Product List in the Web App: If you're using OEE batch integration, you can now add and edit your product list directly in the web app! No need for external support—just go to OEE settings and manage your products with ease. This makes configuring your production data faster and more efficient!
