Volume coefficient (IMP/M3)
The volume coefficient is the factor used in gas meters to convert the number of pulses into the volume of gas measured. This coefficient is important for the installation of the sensor and can be found on the meter itself or in the manual.
Calorific value (MJ/M3)
The calorific value is the amount of energy released when a fuel is burned completely. We use this factor to convert your gas consumption from volume to energy. You can find the calorific value on your gas bill or also on the gas meter itself.
The factors above need to be filled in in our technical assessment.
