After the Onboarding Representative validates the installation, the consultancy department should promptly contact the customer to schedule the Compressed Air Scan.
The compressed air scan is when our energy consultants analyze the sensor data, provide you with relevant insights regarding the energy and compressed air data streams, and discuss insights with regards to the performance over time of the compressed air system. The scan consists of two online meetings, very similar to the energy scan process, the first one, is the so-called Data Collection, and is scheduled for two months after the installation is completed.
First meeting
Our process begins with an automated data-collection phase, where the sensors will continuously record data for at least two months to ensure we capture all possible patterns. Following this, we will schedule the first meeting with our consultant to review the collected data for electricity and flow. During this session, we will focus on identifying relevant energy waste patterns and savings opportunities tailored to your specific production process and operating schedule. We will also cover the setup of sensors critical to monitoring your compressed air system. This includes agreeing on a basic layout and schematics for sensor locations, as well as discussing the technical data related to your compressors, buffer tanks, and other essential components.
Please note that this initial session is focused on assessment and information gathering—no final results or recommendations will be provided at this stage.
Second meeting
The second and final meeting of the compressed air scan will take place approximately four weeks after the initial consultation. During this session, our consultant will present findings, focusing on savings and key insights regarding leakages, system dimensioning, and key performance indicators like kWh/m³, peak power, and running hours.
We’ll also finalize the compressed air system setup, including linking electricity sensors to flow data, and activate the efficiency feature and tab in the web client. Having decision-makers present will facilitate quicker implementation, particularly for opportunities requiring investment.
