In the Currency & Prices section, you can set electricity, gas, and water prices. These prices convert consumption into costs, displayed in your selected currency across the Electricity, Gas, and Water dashboards.
Getting Started:
- Select Your Currency: Choose your preferred currency.
- Set Prices by Month and Year: Select the year and enter the price for each calendar month.
- Click on the ‘Save’ button. Changes will appear in graphs within 5 minutes. Refresh your browser to see the latest costs.
Please note: you are required to fill in prices for a full year to ensure costs can be calculated across time.
Handling Different Pricing Systems:
Pricing varies across countries and providers. If your prices differ by a different period (e.g., day/night tariffs), calculate and input the average monthly price.
Applying Prices to Historical Data and Forecasts:
The price settings apply to all historical years with consumption data. You can also input prices for future months as forecasts. Once a new month begins, the prices set for that month will automatically calculate costs.
Please note: If there is no price inserted for future years, we use the most recent price to forecast any future years. If there is no price inserted for historical years, we use the earliest price available in those years. Please make changes where needed to adapt to your reality.
Monthly Updates Recommended:
We suggest updating your price settings monthly to reflect the actual prices from your electricity, gas or water bill. This ensures accurate cost calculations.
