Sensorfact supports two ways of MFA: an optional and a required version.
What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), also known as two-step verification, is an extra layer of security that can be added to the login process of the Sensorfact App.
Instead of entering just a password, MFA requires two or more verification methods to gain access. This significantly increases your account security, even if someone has your password.
- You can set up MFA using apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy.
- Note: You will be required to log in with MFA every 60 days.
Sensorfact supports two types of MFA:
-
Optional MFA: Available to all users. You can enable MFA for your own account via
Settings > Account > Multi-Factor Authentication. -
Mandatory MFA: When enabled, all users linked to your site must set up MFA before they can log in.
To activate this for your site, contact our support team at support@sensorfact.nl.
