Pulse counters need to be attached to an existing meter with a pulse output. There are many different meter types which is why the installation of the pulse counter needs to be adapted to the specific type of the meter. Not all meters are suitable to be connected to a pulse counter. The onboarding representative will carefully analyze your meter and will update you if the meter is suitable for our pulse counters.
The pulse sensor and Sensorfact Software are designed to continuously register consumption data by monitoring a pulse output of your gas and water. The pulse sensor sends a wireless message to a bridge once it registers a pulse – or - when it does not register any pulse within a single hour. Subsequently, following the correct volume or power coefficient (i.e. # of pulses per mɜ), the Sensorfact Software logs the data and shows the consumption over time.
