General information
The Technical Assessment is a form that you need to fill out for us to know which hardware to send. Our onboarding representatives sends the Technical Assessment to you to fill in or download it here. Some details to point out about the Technical Assessment:
- If a Technical Assessment is not correctly filled in with all the needed information, the hardware cannot be shipped. Most importantly: The invoice email address, Purchase Order Number, and the Wifi credentials: Network name and password;
- The first “user” indicated on the Technical Assessment is the person addressed on the hardware package(s), and the person receiving the track and trace emails;
- The address on the Technical Assessment leads to where the package will be delivered.
Caloric value (MJ/m3): Ensure the calorific value, listed on your gas invoices, is entered correctly.
Meter name: Each name must be unique; no two sensors can share the same identifier. The sensor names should refer to the location of the gas meter within your company.
Gas group: The sensors can be grouped by location, meter, or any grouping method that works best for you.
Volume coefficient: This coefficient is important for the installation of the sensor and can be found on the meter itself or in the manual.
Meter type and brand: There are several different types of meters. If we know what type and what brand the meter is, we can more easily choose the cables that are needed for our pulse counters.
Sealed: If a meter output is sealed, we can not connect the cable from the meter to the pulse counter. In this case, the installation of a gas pulse counter on this location is unfortunately not possible.
Pictures
If you have gas pulse counters, Sensorfact needs pictures of the gas meters of the customer to determine which cable Sensorfact needs to send. These pictures can be uploaded in the technical assessment. For guidelines for the pictures, you can use this document.
