Network configuration (Firewalls)

If you are connecting the bridges via a local network (NB. not relevant for LTE/4G connections), please guarantee internet connectivity by properly configuring your ports/firewalls. The bridges cannot deliver the data to our cloud platform if this is not done correctly. The below IP addresses, ports, and protocols should be accessible. Ask your IT department for help if needed.

IP Address Port Protocol
52.51.20.240 1292 TCP and UDP
1.1.1.1

ICMP

52.213.168.160 1292 TCP and UDP
18.203.32.19 1292 TCP and UDP
52.211.67.105 1292 TCP and UDP
52.17.124.219 1292 TCP and UDP

These IP addresses correspond to OpenVPN servers that enable secure access to the Sensorfact platform.

If MAC-addresses are needed, Sensorfact can deliver these to you. The bridges that Sensorfact uses, only broadcast data most of the time and do not download any data.

There is only one exception: firmware updates are placed on the bridge from time to time so the bridge also downloads data (this happens very, very rarely). This makes wifi a safe and efficient communication option.
