Installing the bridges

Your device is delivered ready for use. To power it on, simply connect it to a power source within the range of 10-32 VDC. This is the only requirement for powering the device.

To ensure proper communication between the bridge and the sensor, follow these guidelines:

  • Placement Radius: Place the bridge within a 50-meter radius of the sensor for optimal connection. Please note that the effective range may vary due to environmental factors such as obstructions and interference.

  • Environmental Factors: The presence of walls, metal objects, or other obstructions can impact the signal range. If you experience connection issues, consider adjusting the placement of the bridge or sensor.

You can connect multiple sensors wirelessly to the same bridge. This allows for a flexible and scalable setup, ideal for monitoring multiple points within the same vicinity.

To achieve the best possible signal strength and coverage, follow these mounting recommendations for the gateway:

  • Distance from Fixed Objects: Ensure that there is a gap of at least 5 cm between the gateway and any fixed objects, including the wall. This spacing is crucial for signal propagation on all sides of the gateway, including the back.

  • Mounting Orientation: When mounting the gateway, make sure that the power outlet faces downward. This orientation helps in maintaining optimal coverage and preventing signal interference.

After the installation of sensors and the bridge let your onboarding representative know so they can validate the installation. After this you will be able to see the data in our software.
